It is impossible to be anything but awestruck by this four hundred year old building decorated in a Provencal style. The Hotel Jacques de Molay is named after the last Master of the Knights Templar due to the fact that their fortress was nearby. 12th century arches vault their conference room, able to accommodate seminars or groups of approximately twenty people. 2016 will be a revolutionary year for the Jacques de Molay, starting with their brand new superior quality buffet breakfast worthy of a four star hotel. The Hotel Jacques de Molay will also soon have been entirely remodeled with a much more contemporary décor, while retaining its origins and unique style typical of the Marais. The new rooms have a lighter, more sober, and designer look, gorgeous bathrooms, high quality bedding, and impeccable soundproofing. The first new generation rooms are available starting in March 2013. Another real plus is the presence of a private fitness club with ultra modern weight machines, a sauna, and, if desired, a professional coach for personalized fitness sessions.  Welcomed as friends by the entire team, you will have an unforgettable stay at the Hotel Jacques de Molay, next to the magnificent Temple gardens.

Stayed here with my family for five nights in May and really enjoyed it. It's in the heart of the Marais area with many convenient Metro stops, including Republique. We were on the top floor and had two balconies as well with nice views. The rooms were of a good size fro Paris standards and impeaccble. The kids can't stop raving about the breakfast. Booked through parismarais.com to benefit from the great deal and would be glad to use this interface again, especially as we received plenty of restaurant recommendations from the developers. Thanks again! Monica

I DON'T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL: Thousands of Euros STOLEN from our room at the Hôtel Jaques de Molay, Paris. July 2017. AVOID this hotel at all costs. Why take the risk in staying here and the same thing happening to you, when there are so many places in Paris, run by honest people? It will be interesting to see whether Mr Anil (who introduced himself as the owner) responds to this review. No doubt he will dispute our story and lie about how it was somehow OUR fault. But, what have we have got to gain from posting this review, other than to help prevent the same terrible thing happening to other people? I am a dentist and professor at the University and my partner is a medical doctor. We are still trembling writing this review filled with a mixture of anger and disappointment. We had the money for our trip in cash. We assumed it would be secure in the safety deposit box within our room. How WRONG we were! On our last night there we went back to our room around 11 pm, to find the safety deposit OPEN.Our heart sank. Trust us, when you have all the money you’ve saved for your trip in a safety deposit, you check it’s locked before you leave the room and you check the room is closed as well. When we counted our money we found out that thousands of Euros had been stolen from the wallets we left inside the safety box. Mr. Anyl did nothing except told us to go to the police (at 1 am). We went. They did nothing. We left at 7am to London. Mr. Anyl refuses any responsibility. He doesn't answer our mails. Be aware.

We already posted our reviews in Hotels. com and Trip Advisor... And after that... The owner of the Hôtel Jaques de Molay (Mr. Anyl P) called me and yielded at me, asking me to take out the reviews, because he was very upset!!!! Could you imagine my surprise? HE was upset... WE WERE ROBBED AT HIS HOTEL! A lot of MONEY that supposed to be safe inside a locked safe box, inside a closed room, in the sixth floor of a very tinny hotel!!! Inside the same box were jewels, credit cards, an iPad Pro, and an iPhone and they didn't stole them...they just took part of our money which was inside several envelopes, inside three different wallets... who ever did it, had enough time and freedom to enter the room, opened (not forced) the safe box, and took money from each of the envelopes, just the day before our departure... it's then pretty easy to assume that the felony was committed by somebody of the staff... So, as I already said... we already lost a lot of money, our peace of mind, our trust in hotels, and many more things, so my intention here is to prevent others to have the same ugly experience. I know you will do what ever you can, to make up your mind about the facts occurred at the Hôtel.. And finally I want to make very clear that we did everything we had to, including go to the police, and they did nothing about it. Don't let the same thing happens to you. Avoid going to the Hôtel Jaques de Molay.

¡TEN CUIDADO! Todavía más breve: Miles de Euros ROBADOS de LA CAJA DE SEGURIDAD DE NUESTRA HABITACIÓN en el hotel Jaques de Molay.
