Brasseries & Parisian Cafés
Brasseries and Parisian cafes are the soul of eternal Paris. In the Marais, you will find them on the wider streets, often located at the corner of the main streets or small pedestrian squares and equipped with a large awning shading a sunny terrace. There you can sit down at any time to tuck into a simple salad, plate of charcuterie or cheese and cup of coffee, Kir (Bourgogne Aligoté and crème de Cassis from Dijon) or Monaco (lemonade, beer and red fruit syrup), the latter being one of the favorite Paris summer drinks.
