Facing the Market Enfants Rouges, the oldest market in Paris created in 1610, discover this place for fashion and "people" of the Haut Marais. Café Charlot has become in a very short time, "The place to be ". Take a seat in the only sunny terrace on the north side of rue de Bretagne, heated in winter. A charming 20’s bistro where everything is meticulously planned for your satisfaction. The menu is simple and delicious, yet all elements of luxury are present and remind us that we are in the place to be. Super-quick service, and fresh produce are waiting for you. Sunday brunch is busy and a bit light : scrambled eggs with salmon, cherry tomatoes and shallots, chives and cheese weaver, toast and brioche bread, fruit salad, fresh squeezed juice, hot drink: around 25 €. Noon, 2 daily specials are available. In the evening, a larger and more sophisticated menu awaits you including "a timbale of Saint-Jacques" and specialty coffee: home of the famous cheeseburger. Happy hour from 5 pm to 7pm is a must.  Go early,  you often have to fight for each table as the address is fashionable.
