Shake n' Smash

87 Rue de Turbigo, Paris, France Tel: 01 42 72 30 76 Metro: Temple Open 7 days per week from noon until 2:30pm and 6:00pm to 2:00am (last food call at 11:30pm) > Website

Shake and Smash is purely inspired from the spirit and creativity of the Belle Epoque. A family business run by Jerome - who has inherited the affair - has completely revamped the place to his own taste, with a neo-Charleston flavour that is unique to Paris. Everything is home made, even the syrups that make up the original and unusual cocktails. Between fusion cuisine and traditional cooking, this family team will always delight you. Whether it’s cuisine or cocktails, innovation is the driving force behind this friendly young team. Shake and Smash also has a creative, gourmet menu of finger foods to go with their cocktails.

Highlights from the menu:
Filet of beef (200g) veal steaks with crushed fennel, artichoke purée and bacon chips. The menu changes frequently to maintain an element of surprise. The kitchen is open every day, which is another plus to this enchanting place. Lunchtime specials Monday to Friday; starter + main, or main + dessert €19.50. Starter, main and dessert €25.

Evenings, à la carte dining:
There is also a private dining room for personal celebrations and corporate events. The concept of a “two-in-one” chic cocktail bar and highly creative restaurant was previously unknown in Paris. Now it has arrived in the shape of Shake and Smash. Try it.

Plongée au coeur des années Charleston, la cuisine est entièrement faite maison. Finger-food et cocktails extraordinaires par leur sophistication et leur présentation.
