Le Jardin Moghol was created in 1987 by Béatrice Jaunet. Fine reproductions of Moghol motifs from the 16th and 17th centuries are recreated by artist Brigitte Singh on cotton and silk-cotton blends and by artist Neeru Kumar as woven jacquards made from wool / linen / cotton / silk…these beautifully crafted fabrics are sold as decorative curtains, pillows, bed throws and table cloths.
Bathrobes and jackets in embroidered silk, lightweigh cotton tunics and shirts, and a range of ecologic cotton items are also available.
Conscious of the current state of the Earth, the artisans of the Jardin Moghol promote ethical manufacturing that respects the working conditions of those who continue to create fine quallity goods using traditional techniques. Table cloths from 70 €, embroidered kimonos from 155 €, bed covers from 70 €, fabric by the meter from 30 €, scarves & shawls from 40 €.
